Tips on finding a cheaper airline ticket to Africa.
- Plan ahead - airlines only allow a few discount seats per flight.
Some flights to Africa are booked months in advance.
- Travel in the low or shoulder season- Its substantially cheaper
if your travel BEGINS January 8- May 31 or September 1 - December

- Its cheaper if you stay for less than 90 days. Layovers always
cost more.
- Its always cheaper to buy a ticket from the country you are
originating from i.e. if your travel starts from Nairobi, it will
be cheaper to buy a ticket in Nairobi.
- Always buy your tickets from an established travel agency. Call
the Better Business Bureau and find out if the travel agent you
are using has any outstanding complaints against them. If a deal
sounds too good to be true, it probably is.
- Whenever possible, use a credit card. Reputable travel agents
accept credit cards for no extra fee.
